Bic Soleil Savvy

I got this BzzAgent Campaign last month and after using it religiously until I ran out of blades, I think I'm ready to share my full opinion on it. First off, when I first started shaving in my early teens, I used to only use the Bic disposable razors. They are affordable and easy to find at almost every drugstore. Since I hit my 20's, I've been using many different brands and types of razors trying to find what suits me best. When I received the Bic Soleil Savvy BzzAgent Campaign, I didn't even know Bix had a permanent razor, so this is completely new to me.

The handle is comfortable to hold, I never have a problem with it slipping out of my hands. The plastic blade holder is a bit awkward, when I attach the handle to one of the new blades it's kinda of a tight fit so I end up using some force and sometimes I accidentally throw the handle from trying to slide the blade out of the holder. Each one has 3 blades, I'm used to having 4 or 5, but the Bic Soleil still does a smooth, close shave. I find that the blades give me about 3 "like new" uses, then about 3-4 "duller than new" uses. To be honest, I get many more uses from the Gillette disposables.

Overall, I like the slender feel of the handle, but I don't really like how long the blades last. At about $6.00 - $8.00 for the razor, I would expect the blade quality to be a bit higher, or have at least 4 blades rather than the 3.
